New Update:

See new gig listings on the Gigs page!!

As you are no doubt aware, Captain Paisley, and all performing artists, were unable to safely perform live, or even get together to rehearse, from March of 2020, when COVID-19 became established in the country.

Many now seem to feel that we are fully past COVID concerns, and indeed, hospitalizations and deaths have seen a significant decline from their peaks.  And many groups are performing again, and people are attending shows and concerts.

However, as of July 30th, 2022, we are still losing over 430 American lives every day to COVID, and cases and hospitalizations are trending up. Meanwhile, doctors are finding that “Post-COVID” or “Long COVID” conditions can include a wide range of ongoing health problems which can last weeks, months, or years, constituting a formal disability under the ADA.

Anecdotally speaking, two former members of Captain Paisley have come down with COVID in the last month or so, after performing or other casual social contact.

As a result, rather than rev up the Captain Paisley rocket again amid possibly risky circumstances, particularly regarding indoor gigs, limiting the opportunities for performance, the band will remain on hold for the near term.

As things improve and we get the virus under better control, we will look to performing in person again.

Please feel free to contact us (via the Contact page) for possible future bookings.

Thanks, as always, for your support.

"They are always a favorite, playing the music of the psychedelic era of the late 60’s with joy and skill.  Captain Paisley pays honest tribute to the era and it’s iconic sounds, staying faithful to the arrangements and playing with freshness and vitality.  We can’t wait to see and hear our old friends again."
